When reading the book "The Origin of Sleep," a truly unique question is posed: could it be that the natural state of living beings is originally "being asleep" or "sleeping"?
This starting point is presented.
This perspective reexamines sleep from a viewpoint that overturns conventional wisdom - the idea that we "sleep" because we're tired and "rest" to recover from the fatigue of activity.
This is because his research subject is the hydra, a microscopic organism without a brain, yet hydras also appear to sleep.
Sleeping without a brain? This is a thin paperback book, so please do give it a read.
That aside (though this is undoubtedly a major proposition about sleep), there are many people in the world who struggle with sleeping well, and the "SiruNeru" website features the latest news about sleep as well as experience report pages that actually test and neutrally verify things that are said to be good for quality sleep.
In their verification corner, M's System's wave-motion speakers were featured, so we'd like to report on this.
~SiruNeru Report
[Experience Report] A sensation as if sound "embraces you." The ultimate sleep experience with wave-motion speakers.
Incredible scores were achieved.
While we naturally expected significant improvement, the test subjects reported with surprise: could sleeping really feel this comfortable?
Their reports of amazement are documented, so please do give it a read.
There's an excellent opportunity to actually experience what kind of sound this is - the natural spread of sound and the feeling of being embraced.
